Clinical Program Manager Outpatient (375)

THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide coordination of clinical & community service delivery activities for outpatient/community and school based services for the northeast Los Angeles and West San Gabriel Valley areas

  • Oversee and provide clinical supervision to one or more individuals within the program to ensure standards are met with the BBS in accordance with registered interns and associate clinical social workers

  • Maintain and monitor program productivity records and generate periodic reports regarding program activity

  • Interact with the community at large and with specific allied agencies, other programs, and funding sources that facilitates and enhances the operation of the program

  • Knowledgeable of the acts in accordance with all prevailing governmental laws and regulations regarding the provision of mental health services, including confidentiality and limits thereof, the reporting of child abuse/neglect, law and ethics

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new initiatives of the organization

  • Attend and participate in Family Resource Center meetings, including staff, in-service, supervisory training seminars and COA related committees and task force groups as needed
  • Responsible for the budgeting of the program including salaries, expenditures, and future projected needs
  • Is available to work evenings and some weekends for community events, fairs, social events related to the community served
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES

  • Doctoral or Master's degree in a mental health field from a nationally recognized accredited school or program offering mental health service delivery or related health care field, plus two years of experience in an appropriate and relevant setting
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Licensed for 2 years preferred (if licensed in another state, must meet the prevailing requirements for licensure in California)
  • Familiarity with coordinated services and rehabilitative mental health services in California highly desirable
  • 2 years relevant experience including staff supervision
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
