Successful applicant will have experience with Mental Health Care industry and hold LCSW/LMFT license. 

The essential functions include:

  • Provide supervision for Peer Resource Center (PRC) program manager, Housing program manager, clinical services program manager, workforce development specialist and administrative assistant
  • Conduct weekly YMO manager meetings
  • Oversee operations of YMO, including PRC and Housing program
  • Take the lead on establishing and maintaining relationships within the community for the purposes of advocacy and representing the Hillsides TAY population
  • Actively involved in the solicitation of donors and organizations to maintain and to grow funding for services
  • Work closely with the Advancement Department to pursue grants and donations related to Hillsides TAY services
  • Attend various TAY meetings and conferences to continue advocacy and exposure in the community for Hillsides
  • Serve as a leader in inter-agency collaborative to identify additional opportunities for Hillsides TAY
  • Coordinate the mentor and volunteer program for YMO
  • Attend YMO board meetings
  • Attend and participate in Family Resource Centers managers meeting, TAY Division meeting, supervisory training seminars, COA related committees and task force groups as needed
  • Is available on-call to YMO staff by phone
  • LPS (Lanterman-Petris-Short Act) designee duties as part of the management/leadership team
  • Work closely with program manager of clinical services to monitor and maintain DMH budget for YMO
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report the data being generated by YMO and PRC programs
  • Establish and track benchmarks related to youth served through the PRC
  • Other duties as required


  • Masters Degree in Social Work, or Public Health related field
  • Experience providing services to the transition aged youth population required.
  • Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and experience in mental health services delivery, or related health care agency, preferred
  • Two years supervisory experience required
  • Experience dealing with foundations and donors, and various public health entities required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of both clients and staff from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
