Internship Type: Temporary, Full-time, Non-exempt Opportunity
Internship Hours: Up to 400 hours (maximum)
Starting Salary Range: $18.04 to $20.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer & President, the intern may participate in a variety of the following activities. Hillsides will work with interns and schools to ensure projects align with students' needs and meet the academic institutions' requirements. Scopes of summer internship projects may include but are not limited to the following:
- Support business development efforts related to child and adolescent mental health treatment services, and wellness programming.
- Monitor the data capturing efforts to track and report on key performance indicators measures for various programs.
- Contribute to performance dashboards and visualizations across various programs.
- Conduct weekly informational interviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Attend individualized weekly supervision sessions
- Collaborate with Program leadership, Marketing, Fund Development, Professional Development, Research, Finance, IT departments, and Hillsides Executive Team.
- Improve agency workflows and data processes by mapping current data flows, identifying gaps, and providing recommendations to strengthen the data infrastructure at Hillsides.
- Engage in cross-department collaboration to contribute towards the organization's data strategy.
- Conduct market research, market segmentation, and competitor analysis for strategic growth and positioning of new and current programs.
- Support business development with recommendations and sustainability planning of new service lines.
- Monitor the data capturing efforts to track and report on key performance indicators measures for various programs.
- Work with administrative teams to develop, optimize, and refine workflows to increase efficiency.
- Support the Business Development team with policy research, legislative monitoring, legislative analysis, and strategic advocacy communication that will advance Hillsides policy priorities.
- Participate in workgroups and committee meetings
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- Enrolled in a university Master's Program
- MPH or MPP candidates strongly preferred
- Relevant volunteer, internship, or work experience preferred
- Graduate student currently pursuing a major in public health, health policy, community health, data science, health promotion, or similar discipline
- GPA 3.0 or higher
