Starting Salary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on bilingual status and/or experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:

  • Demonstrate effective crisis management/de-escalation skills in a variety of settings
  • Utilize communication skills in regular Wraparound family team meetings and assist in development of individualized Plan of Care
  • Ensure involvement of family in development of treatment planning
  • Provide and link services to family as outlined in Plan of Care
  • Demonstrate creativity developing and delivering behavioral services to individuals and families that is consistent with Plan of Care
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work flexible hours; be available to work non-traditional hours on a regular basis
  • Participate in Wraparound trainings and meetings as assigned by program director
  • Develop and maintain accurate client records, including progress notes and participate in development of needs/strengths assessment and Plan of Care
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES

  • Bachelors degree in Social Sciences and 2 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children or an Associates of Arts degree in social sciences and  4 years experience working with emotionally disturbed children or 6 years experience working with emotionally disturbed children
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
