Starting Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $77,640.00 per year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
The essential functions include:
- Develop 4-6 weekly group therapy sessions and associated designed to meet the needs of the YMO population which includes topics such as Seeking Safety, relapse prevention, harm reduction, dialectical behavioral therapy skills, independent living skills, healthy relationships, mindfulness, and social support process groups
- Track attendance and provide data outcomes through satisfaction surveys and direct observation
- Maintain a caseload of 5-7 individual therapy clients
- Provide crisis-oriented treatment and support when needed
- Develop a schedule based on client needs that may include evenings and weekends
- Available on call 24/7 to clients in crisis
- Provide goal-oriented treatment
- Lead mental health trainings and meetings with youth and staff
- Attend in-service training
- Attend weekly case consultation meetings with YMO staff
- Maintain and complete all clinical and administrative record-keeping, including DMH paperwork requirements, in a timely manner
- Be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team approach
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES
- Master's Degree in a Social Service related field
- Registered with the BBS, has a BBS number, and is in good standing with the BBS.
- Experience working with transitional-age youth
- Knowledge and experience in individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, independent living skills, substance abuse, social skills, and communication
- Knowledge of the specific issues facing youth emancipating from foster care, juvenile probation and experiencing homelessness
- Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse clientele and staff
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
