Starting Salary Range: $18.04 -21.00 per hour (based on experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:
- Read the daily job orders and perform repair work as needed
- Maintain and be accountable for the tools used
- Organize and clean-up of work areas and proper storage of tools and equipment
- Replace broken windows, fix holes in walls, and replace or repair doors and painting
- Have a rudimentary knowledge of plumbing and be able to replace faucet washers, fix leaks, unclog drains and replace pipes
- Make notes of any repairs or replacement needed and follow proper procedures for getting the work done
- Basic mechanical and vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Keep the Maintenance Supervisor informed of daily work activities and follow instructions
- Work as a team member in improving service delivery
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- High school diploma preferred but not required.
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in a maintenance capacity.
- HVAC Certified, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
- Knowledge of safe & proper use of tools.
- Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier.
