Job Type: Full-time with Opportunity 

Starting Salary Range: $76,915 - $84,000 per year (depending on experience, licensure, and/or bilingual status)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:

  • Oversee therapists and lead therapists for residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Personnel and training compliance including recruitment and monitoring job performances and clinical supervision
  • Provide BBS required individual, triadic, and group supervision as needed
  • Provide oversight for all clinical documentation assigned to supervisees (e.g. commercial admit/concurrent, discharge clinicals, full assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, etc.)
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight across departments to ensure high quality care and coordination
  • Provide on call crisis support on a rotating basis
  • Oversee crisis intervention documentation for all programs
  • Provide training within direct report team as well as to new hires as indicated
  • Oversee the clinical charts and assure compliance with insurance/contractors and agency paperwork.
  • Attend external meetings/conferences on specific needs as identified
  • Coordinate directly with insurance companies and third party companies to ensure client approval for care and ongoing utilization reviews as needed
  • Assist in the coordination of the program's clinical chart review process
  • Attend supervisors' meeting and participate in program and policy development as needed.
  • Other duties as required. 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES

  • Master's degree in social welfare or counseling from an accredited college or university. Licensed, experience post licensure, 2 years required
  • Experience working with communities from diverse SES backgrounds
  • Experience working with both DMH and Commercial health plans preferred 
  • Knowledge of and acts in accordance withal prevailing governmental laws and regulations regarding the provision of mental health services, including confidentiality and limits thereof, the reporting of child abuse/neglect, and related regulations
  • Knowledgeable of and acts in accordance with ethical and professional standards established by appropriate professional organizations, whether or not the individual is a member of any such organization
  • Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
