Starting Salary Range: $32.69 - $36.06 per hour (based on bilingual status and/or experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:
- Review or make Accounts Payable entries in the general ledger
- Review monthly entry for credit card/p-card transactions
- Accounts receivable reconciliation for HillsidesCares program
- Complete remote check deposits for check payments received and prepare daily cash report of deposits and disbursements for cash accounts.
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheets accounts
- Prepare month-end closing schedules and month-end journal entries
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government license and registration renewals
- Support grant applications and reporting processes to federal and non-federal grants
- Provide support to other Finance department team members
- Maintain and reconcile donor purpose restricted funding
- Produce supplemental reports and analyses as needed
- Assist in annual financial and program audits
- Complete special assignments and any other projects as requested by the Finance department management team
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, Business Administration or related field and/or minimum of five years' experience in accounting and/or finance preferably with a non-profit organization.
- Knowledge of Blackbaud Financial Edge is preferred.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working with a diverse staff.
- Valid California driver's license, clean driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
