Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 10:30 pm-8:30 am
Starting Salary Range: $20.14- $23.00

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:
- Responsible for the overall supervision, direct care, and protection of clients and staff during overnight hours across all campus-based programs, including STRTP, THPP-NMD, and HillsidesCares.
- When necessary coach and support NMDs in developing and maintaining daily living skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, money management, and time management.
- When necessary support the nursing department with tasks related to clients ongoing medical care including providing support for daily living skills,
- Support client participation in structured evening and overnight routines, and assist in managing behavioral concerns or conflicts in a trauma-informed manner.
- Collaborate with unit supervisors and direct care teams to ensure continuity of care and follow-through on overnight expectations and planned activities.
- Provide oversight and enforcement of procedures and policies associated with the Campus Support Office during overnight operations.
- Triage client crises during the overnight shift and coordinate appropriate interventions and follow-up actions.
- Serve as the point of contact with local law enforcement, EMS, and other first responders in the event of campus emergencies or safety incidents.
- Initiate, complete, and track Missing Persons Reports when necessary, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
- Maintain an active and visible presence on campus throughout the shift to support staff and monitor any safety or security concerns.
- Provide supervisory and administrative support to overnight childcare staff when unit supervisors are off-duty, including coordinating staff coverage and ensuring appropriate client-to-staff ratios are maintained.
- Respond to acting-out behaviors using trauma-informed practices and behavioral management techniques (Pro-ACT), including incidents related to elopement, substance use, and client distress.
- Participate in overnight crisis intervention and de-escalation, and document all relevant actions taken.
- Conduct regular safety and cleanliness checks of cottages and campus facilities to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
- Screen and monitor any late-night or early-morning off-campus trips in collaboration with daytime leadership and care teams.
- Monitor and screen any visitors to the campus during overnight hours, ensuring safety protocols are upheld.
- Coordinate or initiate appropriate procedures in the event of natural disasters, medical emergencies, fire alarms, campus lockdowns, or other critical events.
- Approve and oversee line-of-sight supervision plans and ensure supervision needs are being met per individual client requirements.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a child care agency preferred
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff & provide leadership
- Valid California driver's license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
