Starting Salary Range: $123,568 - $155,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:
- Serves as Hillsides' subject matter expert for all properties owned and leased
- Supervision, management and/or coordination of all facilities services
- Oversees purchases of all major equipment and facility-related supplies for agency and cottage needs
- Overseeing the safety, physical care and maintenance of the facilities
- Manages the utilization of 'outside' contractors such as repair personnel, construction, etc. and obtains bids/quotes as required
- Management of the food services company to ensure the quality of meals and uniformity of dietary services.
- Management of the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments
- Oversees and manages the contracts for agencies' vehicle fleet
- Administrator of the Health and Safety Program
- Establishes and implements PQI program standards
- Establishes and implements protocol for Risk Management
- Leads Property Management companies regarding facilities
- Works directly with Property Management company for apartments approving projects, upgrades, inspections, and overseeing budgets.
- Manages all Hillsides client units directly
- Coordinates facility maintenance, development, and master plans with CEO, CFO, and B&G Committee
- Manages capital improvements for all facilities in close coordination with the architects, construction manager, construction managers, facility director, President/COO. CFO and all other stakeholders
- Ensures OSHA requirements are adhered to
- Collaboration with Pasadena Health department inspections
- Supports Master Plan for Hillsides
- Responsible for yearly fire clearances for all sites
- Responsible for obtaining business license renewals for all sites
- Serve as emergency contact for all sites during work hours and after hours and dispatching Hillsides staff or vendors accordingly
- Serve as primary Neighborhood representative
- Develops agency budget and adheres to fiscally responsible spending of agency dollars per approved budget
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- High School Diploma required, some college or trade certification, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in facilities management, required
- Demonstrated work experience with Hillsides type facilities (owned, leased commercial properties and/or apartment units), preferred
- English/Spanish fluency, preferred
- Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier, required
